This was one of the coolest projects I've worked on to date. To support our current sermon series called "The Intersection" - I created and designed a 50's motel style sign to be hung on the stage as our backdrop. We designed and ordered the pieces individually and put them together to custom fit the stage. To get the old rusted feel, we used muriatic acid and steel wool to throw and rub on the metal and letters giving it a vintage look.
Easter WHEAT PASTE WALL
Being that street art is close to my heart, I was overjoyed when we designed and created a poster wall outside of the church sanctuary leading up to our Easter celebration. Afterwards instead of tearing it down, we just put another layer of posters promoting our next sermon series on top of it. Allowing the weather to tear apart and away the layers giving it the depth you can't create by hand.
